The President’s
House is a non-smoking facility. |
| The
front door locks automatically, be sure that you have taken a key when you
leave and intend to return. |
| The
fireplace is not useable, and lighting candles is not allowed. |
| The
lights for the dining room are on the left side of the door to the kitchen. |
| Please
do not use the dishes on display in the dining room cabinets, they are
historic. |

Please
be sure that all windows and exterior doors are closed and the lights turned
off when you leave. |
| You may
leave the key in the house when your stay is over. |
| BE SURE DOORS ARE LOCKED WHEN YOU LEAVE |
| Make yourselves at
home. |
| You
may use all appliances and cookware in the kitchen.
Please clean the kitchen as you would your own. |

There is another shower in the basement, if you have a large group
(it’s not fancy but it works!) |

You may park your car in
or in front of the garage ( the door lifts up with the handle, no garage door opener) on the west side of the
house. If you should get a VCSU
parking ticket when you are on campus, turn it into the Student Center
Information Desk. |

There are extra blankets,
fans, and heaters in the closets. |
|
Please do not use the phone for any long-distance calls.

Do
not try to adjust the steam registers. The thermostat is in the dining
room. If you have any
questions or problems please call our Facilities Services at 845-7705.

Guests will leave the house in the same condition that it was found. |

cleaning fee will be assessed if the kitchen is not left in good order. |

is a roll-away bed and a portable crib available. |
